I don't know if these really last 20,000 hours but the do last a really long time. My house has very high ceilings and we need to drag in a ladder to change bulbs. These are great because since installing them over 1 year ago, have not had to change one yet.

We had been using another brand spotlight and they burned out very quickly -- sometimes in just 2 weeks. I bought my first case of these Super Life bulbs about 9 months ago and none of them have burned out since that time. That's not yet 20,000 hours but it's way better than the other brand. My only comment about these bulbs is that they are a hair less bright and tend to have a bit more yellow or orange in their color spectrum than other bulbs. That's only something you would notice if you looked at them side-by-side and I suspect that it's because the Super Life bulbs have heavier filaments, giving them more durability but also the slightly warmer color. I just ordered 2 more cases (we have lots of high-hats in our ceilings) so I can replace the remaining ones.

Hard to find type of long-life lightbulbs were packed beautifully - otherwise they'd have been in shards. Will gladly use this company again.
